Under the Same Stars 3 (Place of the Three-Horned Face)

Acrylic and glitter on canvas
8 x 8 inches
1.5 inches thick, gallery wrap canvas

Note: This is an ORIGINAL PAINTING, not a canvas print.

From my "Under the Same Stars" series of paintings exploring the changing Earth through deep time.

Triceratops gazed up at the same sky from this same planet 68-66 million years ago. The name Triceratops, derived from Greek, literally means "three-horned face." It is the South Dakota state fossil and has been one of my favorite prehistoric beasts since I was a child.

The canvas edges are painted so framing is not necessary. I've included two options for easy hanging: picture wire and a sawtooth hanger. Signed and titled on the back and signed with the year of creation on one side.
